Turkey Catcher
Basic Purpose:
Catchers go to the turkey growers overnight and load live turkeys onto trucks to be transported back to the plant. Requires working with live animals in open elements and traveling over distances to the turkey growers (farms).
Duties:
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds frequently
- Other duties as required which comply with the essential job functions.
- Comply with Plainville Farms animal welfare policy.
- Perform other related responsibilities, as needed to support Plainville Farms LLC
Qualification:
- Ability to work under pressure and in a wide variety of conditions including dust, wet, hot, and cold.
- Must have an excellent attitude
- Must be punctual
- Must be able to follow directions
