THESE STUFFED PEPPERS WILL SATISFY YOUR WHOLE FAMILY!

 

 Stuffed Bell Peppers 

Ingredients 

1 pound Plainville Farms Ground Turkey 

1 cup long grain white rice (uncooked) 

1 1/2 cups water 

6 bell peppers 

2 (8 oz) cans of tomato sauce 

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce 

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder 

1/2 teaspoon onion powder 

Salt and pepper to taste 

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning 

Directions 

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. 

Place the rice and water into a pot and bring to a boil.  

Reduce heat – cover – and cook for 20 minutes. 

In a skillet – cook your Plainville Farms ground turkey over medium heat until browned. (Min 165 °) 

Cut off the tops of the bell peppers – clean out the seeds. 

Arrange the peppers in a baking dish with the hollowed sides faced up.  

In a bowl - combine the cooked rice, browned turkey, 1 can of tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, onion and garlic powder, salt, and pepper. 

Fill each bell pepper to the top.  

In another bowl - mix the remaining tomato sauce and Italian seasoning. Pour as a topping over the stuffed peppers. 

Bake for 1 hour in the preheated oven – until the peppers are tender. 

Baste each pepper with sauce every 15 minutes to keep it moist.
