How To Prevent Cross Contamination

First make sure you don’t rinse your turkey. Rinsing your turkey can spread harmful germs and bacteria around the kitchen and increases the risk of cross-contamination. Make sure to always use separate cutting boards for raw poultry and any other food that does not require cooking. Before and after preparing raw poultry, clean countertops and cutting boards with hot water and soap.
