Creamy Turkey Burritos (Gluten Free Version)

These Creamy Turkey Burritos make for an uncommonly delicious wholesome lunch. Believe it or not, they're totally gluten free!


1 lb. Plainville Farms® Ground Turkey
1 cup onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tbsp. flour
1 tbsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup gluten free chicken broth
1 can (4 oz.) chopped green chilies
8 corn tortillas
1/2 cup reduced-fat cheddar cheese
salsa and sour cream


In large skillet over medium-high heat, sauté turkey, onions and garlic until turkey is no longer pink, about 5 minutes. Drain. Return to medium heat.

Stir in flour, chili powder, pepper flakes, salt, broth and green chilies. Cook until mixture thickens, stirring constantly, for about 3-4 minutes.

Spoon 1/2 cup of turkey mixture onto each tortilla. Sprinkle with 1 tbsp. cheese and roll your burrito up. Place burritos on 9-X 13-inch pan, lightly coated with vegetable cooking spray. Cover pan with foil.

Bake at 350° F for 15 to 20 minutes or until hot. Serve with salsa and sour cream. Serves 4.
