Crock-Pot Taco Soup

Servings: 6 

INGREDIENTS

2 lbs. Plainville Farms Ground Turkey 

1 packet Taco Seasoning Mix 

1.5 tsp Garlic Powder 

1 tsp Onion Powder 

1 tsp Oregano 

1 tsp Salt 

1 tsp Pepper 

1 (10 oz) can Rotel 

1 (7 oz) can Diced Green Chiles - with juice 

4 cups Chicken Broth 

1 (14 oz) can Black Beans - drained 

1 (14 oz) can Garbanzo Beans - drained 

1 (14 oz) can Red Kidney or Pinto Beans, rinsed & drained 

1.5 (14 oz) cans Diced Tomatoes – with juice 

1 (15.25 oz) can of corn 

Garnishes (to your taste) 

Sour Cream. 

Cheddar or Monterey Jack Cheese, shredded. 

Chopped cilantro – to taste. 

You can add tortilla chips to taste. 

Instructions 

Set your Crock Pot to "low".  

Add your Plainville Farms ground turkey & cook until no longer pink. 

Mix in the taco seasoning. 

Add in your chicken broth - all canned ingredients (both beans, corn, tomatoes, and salsa.) Stir to combine. 

Put the lid on your crock pot & allow to cook on low for 45 min. 

Mix thoroughly & serve in bowls. 

Top the bowls of soup with chopped cilantro (optional - not everyone likes cilantro), shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream (to your taste) &enjoy!
